Those who know me, know my story. Grew up between the rocks, the islands and the peninsula; moved across hemispheres to study and practise medicine in languages completely unlike my native tongue. The most common question I get is "how did you get there? how did you find out about that? what do you think you'll do next?" Here is where I answer a lot of those questions, talk about the struggles and share the insight I have into being a citizen of the world and a medical/healthcare professional - at the same time.
